The idea of our vineyard started in November 2012 when Rae & I returned from vacation. My mom mentioned that my step-sister Bonnie Roggenkamp had just planted a vineyard near Battleground, WA and that the WSU Extension Agency was having a seminar on Vineyards soon.  I attended and met our soon-to-be consultant John Choquer there. We started clearing the vineyard area in spring of 2013 and our vineyard was established. With mom being the inspiration for the vineyard and her dedication to it being successful, we decided to name the vineyard after her.
